Captain Ronnie J. Cousans of Folsom, LA passed away on October tenth at the age of seventy. Ronnie was born in New Orleans and spent a great part of his life in New Orleans, and also spent a great part of his life in West End and Bucktown. He was proud of being a Captain and of the friends and great memories he made along the way. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, spending time at his camp, the Saints, fine dining, and a great cocktail. He also enjoyed a good pair of shrimp boots, all things Louisiana, recounting stories, reciting lines from Forest Gump, and his constant companion Libby. Ronnie will be remembered for his extravagant parties, his crazy sense of humor, his generosity and caring nature and his kind eyes. Ronnie leaves behind his (“Jenny”), his confidantes, Nick and Larry and his companion Libby. He also leaves behind his siblings Dennis, Priscilla, Cynthia, Pamela and Sidney as well as numerous friends. Ronnie will be put to rest beside his beloved mother in a private ceremony. Kathy (“Jenny”), Nick and Larry would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at PAM in Covington for their unwavering kindness.
