Brian ‘Scottie’ Stephen McCrae Jr. passed away Tuesday morning at Ochsner Hospital at the age of 44. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island and lived in Pear River, LA for the past 6 years. Scottie loved working as a volunteer firefighter. His passion was cooking, especially for others. Loving husband of 13 years to Jamie S. McCrae. Caring father of Lily and Samantha McCrae, and Courtney Tartaglia. Son of Nettie G. McCrae and the late Brian S. McCrae Sr. Brother of Daniel Wayne Fisher, Brian A. Fisher (Tammy), Kenneth E. Fisher (Karen), Robin Hutchinson (Earl), and Cynthia McCrae. Also survived by 9 nieces and 3 nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to help defer the funeral cost.
