Blanca Rosa (Rosales) Carbajal

Blanca Rosa Rosales Abella de Carbajal, 89, of Metairie, La, a native of Puerto Cortes, Honduras, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Blanca Rosa was born in Puerto Cortes, Honduras on February 01, 1934, and was a resident of Metairie, La.  She was a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Metairie, La.  Blanca Rosa enjoyed her Ladies Prayer Group that prayed the Rosary, cooking for family and friends, watching game shows and taking care of her Violets and Orchids on a daily basis.  Spoiling her Grandchildren was her favorite hobby and she cherished those moments.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Lisandro Rosales Martinez and Sinta Abella Pejuan de Rosales, Sisters, Cristina Isabel Rosales Abella de Blanco (husband Antonio), Matilde Rosales, and her Brothers, Carlos Melendez Abella (wife Rosa), Lisandro Rosales Abella (wife Margarita), Joaquin Patricio Rosales Abella (wife Carmen), Rodolfo Rosales Abella (wife Olivia), Marco Antonio Rosales Abella (wife Bertha Alicia), Guillermo Rosales and Cesar Rosales.

Blanca Rosa is survived by her Husband of 58 Years, Abraham Carbajal, Sr, Children, Hector L Carbajal (Shannon),of Picayune, Ms., Carmen Rosa Nassauer (Paul) of The Colony, Tx., Abraham Carbajal, Jr (Susan) of Biloxi, Ms., Marco A Carbajal of Metairie, La., Grandchildren, Nickolas, Gabriel, Bryan, Ashleigh, Brittanie, Melissa, Victoria, Matthew, Hailey, Great Grandchildren, Reid, Amelia, Bentley, Sophie and by many loving Nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
