Blaine Pierre Conrad, 59, of Abita Springs, La. passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Abita Springs, La. Blaine was a registered member of the Osage Nation and was proud of his Native Heritage. He was a member of the Catholic faith. Blaine graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He then received his RHIT Certification from Delgado Community College and was employed in the Healthcare Industry at UC Davis as a Medical Coder. Blaine enjoyed listening to music, cooking, travelling and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Dr. Harold & Elaine Conrad and Brother, Carl Conrad.
Blaine is survived by his Wife of 28 Years, Tracy Moreda Conrad of Abita Springs, La., Sons, Luke Conrad of New Orleans, La., Theodore Conrad of Abita Springs, La., Alexander Conrad & Fiancée Lucinda Manint of Mandeville, La., Daughter, Courtney Conrad of Covington, La., Brothers, David Conrad of Washington D.C., Dr. Erich Conrad of New Orleans, La., Sister, Dr. Rachel Cuevas of Sevierville, Tn. and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024, with a Memorial Christian Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, 72040 Maple Street, Abita Springs, La. 70420. Rev. Ken Allen will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
The family would like to especially thank Tamika Harris RN and St. Tammany Parish Hospital Staff for their devotion and loving care to Blaine during his illness.
