Barbara Ann (Berhel) Frank

Barbara Ann Berhel Frank, 90, of Slidell, La., passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, in a local care center.  She was a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Slidell, La.  Barbara was of the Catholic faith. She was a homemaker, grew up on a dairy farm, loved to ride horses, raised calves, was a member of a line dancing group and loved spending time with her friends and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Ernest Frank, Daughter Julie Ann Frank, Parents, Phillip and Helen Berhel, Brothers, Alvin Berhel, Leroy Berhel and lifelong friend, Peggy Valcour.

Barbara is survived by several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, and was Godmother to Antonio Velazquez. She also leaves to cherish her memory her Lifelong Friend, Cynthia Velazquez, as well as numerous Friends and Neighbors, of whom the family would like to especially acknowledge Courtney(dec.) and June Smith, and James and Michele Page.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service of Prayer to be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy 36, Covington, LA, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with Gathering beginning at 10:00 AM.
