Ann Carol (Scheppegrell) Parr

Ann Carol Scheppegrall Parr, 82 of Covington, La. passed peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland moved to New Orleans, La. and then became a resident of Covington, La.  Ann graduated from Loyola University with a Degree in Business Administration.  She was raised Catholic but later in life became a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Abita Springs.  Ann started working at Shell Oil Company as an accountant and then worked at her Aunt’s loan company.  While the children were in school, Ann worked as a Teacher’s Aide until retirement.  She enjoyed reading, hiking, travelling with her husband by her side, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Ann is preceded in death by her Parents, Cerial and Virginia Scheppegrell and Brother, Stewart Scheppegrell.

 She is survived by her Husband of 59 Years, Earl J. Parr of Covington, La., Son, Michael E. Parr of Mandeville, La., Daughters, Linda A. Barbara and husband Ricky of Norco, La., Deborah Jennings and husband Kenneth of Franklin, La., Sisters, Virginia Webb of Texas, Beth Rudolph of Arizona, June Wisecroft of Mississippi, Brothers, John Scheppegrell of Oregon, George Scheppegrell of Florida, Grandchildren, Rene, Heather, Anthony, Sarah, Great Grandchildren, Desiree, Jasmine, Eli, Bralyn, Anthony, Axton, Adalaid and numerous friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025, with Visitation at 10:00 AM and a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church, 71117 Hwy. 59, Abita Springs, La., 70420.  Pastor Winfred Baker will officiate with burial at Abita Springs Cemetery #1, Abita Springs, La.
