Althea Stegner Obituary

Althea L. Stegner passed away on October 7, 2018 in Covington, LA at the age of 88. She was born on July 24, 1930 in New Orleans, LA and traveled for most of her life with her husband, Paul, who was a career serviceman serving in the United States Air Force and also resided in Florida for a while before moving to Covington, LA 29 years ago. She enjoyed gardening and spending time working in her yard. She was the loving wife of the late Paul Robert Stegner. She was the daughter of the late Edwina “Evelyn” Barnes Lopes of New Orleans, LA. She was the sister of the late Lurline M. Baxter and survived by her brother, Calvin Lopes. She is survived by her nephews, Phillip A. Dell’Orfano (JoAnn), Ralph E. Dell’Orfano, Michael A. Dell’Orfano, and her niece, Leah D. Knight. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Committal Service at Pinecrest

Memorial Gardens, Inc., 2280 West 21st Street, Covington, Louisiana at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 in the mausoleum.
