Allida Joy Cordova, age 80, entered eternal rest Monday June 8, 2026 and was the beloved daughter of the late Ubaldo Cordova and Inez Guilbeau Cordova.  Allida was a lifelong resident of Arabi, La. and resident of Abita Springs, La.  since 2006.  She was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy High School and retired from Peter McBreen & Associates Inc.  Allida was an avid reader, loved Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, traveling, crafting, her beloved pets, and spending time with family and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her dear friends Deloris Perkins and Christine Perkins.

Allida is survived by Hope P. Ferguson (Bradley), Hannah Ferguson Dugas (Cameron), April Stogner, Justis Hinton (Annabella, Nicole, Addison), Joshua Hinton (Kaylan, Aspyn, Alivia), Timothy Stogner (Danielle), Mason Stogner, Peyton Stogner, and lifelong friends Karen Surbeck, Linda Williams.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday July 31, 2026, at 11am at St. Jane de Chantel Catholic Church, 72040 Maple Street, Abita Springs, LA 70420.  Visitation will begin at 10am at church with burial at a later date in New Orleans, La.  Family and friends may express their condolences online at www.serenitycovington.com .
