Wilford "Wayne" Roberts

Wilford “Wayne” Roberts, Age 76, and a lifelong resident of Mount Hermon, LA, died on Saturday night, April 11, 2020 at his home in Mount Hermon. Wayne was a retired dairy farmer of 32 years. He was married to Linda Ann Roberts for 56 years, and is survived her as well as by his son and daughter in law Ricky and Tena Roberts of Kentwood, LA, his daughter and son in law Kelley and Terry Brooks of Mount Hermon, LA, and his son Dusty Roberts of Mount Hermon, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren Blayze Roberts, Bailey Brooks and Brantley Brooks, his Sister and brother in law Patsy and Nickey Smith of Franklinton, LA, sister Sue Marino of Baton Rouge, LA, and sister Jean Nielson of Franklinton, LA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Alyne Roberts, brothers Pete Roberts, Holyne Roberts, and his sister Bobby Bankston. Due to the circumstances impacting our community, a Private Memorial Service will be held graveside on a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial donations to Mount Hermon Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
