Wilda Bollingham Obituary
Wilda Grace Bollingham passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019, in Slidell, La at the age of 69. She was born in New Orleans and lived in Slidell for most of her life. Wilda was a dedicated teacher, in the classroom and with the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department, Roller Skating Program. She was deeply involved with her community, where she frequently organized roller skating events for the neighborhood youth. Wilda was an avid gardener and animal lover, who will be remembered for her selfless generosity.
Daughter of the late Charles Bollingham, Sr. and Virginia Morton Bollingham.
Devoted mother of Camilo A. Molina (Angie), Dianna M. Vanney and Charles J. Molina (Adriana), and her Furbabies Betsy and Suzy.
Sister of Estelle B. Orellana, Charles Bollingham, Jr. (Pandora), Judith B. Bingham (Donald), Jeanette “Davi” B. Battistella (Albert), Leonard Bollingham and James Bollingham, Sr. (Kareen).
Loving grandmother of Victoria Vanney, Alexandra Vanney, Mateo Molina, PJ Molina and Eva Molina and her grandfurbabies Pepper and Blue. Also survived by aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. She is also predeceased by her nephew Jacob Bollingham.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 112 Rue Esplanade, Slidell, LA 70461 on Friday, August 30, 2019. Visitation from 10:30am until 12:30pm with the Service at 12:30pm. Interment will take place at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie at 2:45pm.
