Waldo L Decuers

Waldo L. Decuers, ( Ty ) 75, of New Orleans, LA passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimers. He was born on November 29, 1941 to Waldo P. and Mary Decuers from New Orleans, LA. Ty was the founder of W.L. Decuers Construction, Inc. for many years. He was active in his community and served on many boards in the city. Ty enjoyed spending time on the golf course and traveling the world. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo and Mary Decuers. He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Dorothy D. Decuers; and their children, sons, Craig Cargill and Peri Wofford of Houston, Texas, Ty Decuers of Metairie, LA., Darren Decuers of Metairie, LA., and Sean Decuers of New York. daughter, Tammy Kaufhold and husband Kent Kaufhold of Friendswood, Texas; and his grandchildren, Cameron Kaufhold, Kellsey Kaufhold, Tyler Decuers, Jil’le Decuers and Brandon Christoffer. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Decuers and wife Pam Decuers, and his two nephews, Larry and Chad Decuers of Luling, Louisiana; and their families, along with numerous, very devoted close friends.
