Toni Lussan Emmett entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 6, 2015, in Slidell, LA at the age of 57. She was born in New Orleans, LA, grew up in New Orleans and Metairie, LA and lived with her husband Evan in Covington, LA. Toni enjoyed and was devoted to her husband, cats and her family. She was ever ready to help anyone in need. Toni was talented in research, cooking, crafts and more. \r\nToni is the loving wife of Evan W Emmett for five years. She is a devoted mother of three cats; Rusty, Ling-Foy and Midnight; father, Eugene Lussan; one brother, Kenny Lussan and one sister, Marcelle and her husband Doug Near; three nieces, Meryl Lussan, Alicia Near an Laura Herty; nephew Tyler and Heidi (Near); a great niece Kaylee Anne Near, Gwen Lussan and longtime family friend Bobby Riley.\r\nShe is preceded in death by her Mother, Myrtis Lussan and sister Carol Klein.\r\n
