Thor Dimitri Payne, age 24, was born on July 1,1997. He left this troubled world on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Thor was an old soul with an immense sense of humor. He loved wholeheartedly despite the many obstacles he faced. Aside from his love of milk, Thor had yet to figure out his dreams in life but wanted more than anything to live. He lived life on his own terms without regret. During his short 24 years, he made lasting friendships and had close bonds with many. Although he was laid back and quiet, he had so much knowledge that he wanted to share. Thor was intelligent, funny, fearless, and loyal to those he loved. Thor leaves behind to cherish his memory his father and stepmother Alexander Payne and Sher Roberts, brothers Christopher, Christian, and Anthony, sisters Cara, Evelyn, Sailor, and Sasha, nephew Joshua, grandmother Brenda Masset, grandfather Wayne Farmer, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Tammi Godwin, grandmother Jan Farmer, aunt Tiffany Payne, nephew Jude Williams, cousin Rebecca Camus, cousin Joshua Payne, and uncles Sid and Sam. The family would also like to thank Thor's aunts Lynette Bourgeois and Nikki Foy, cousins Gloria and Laurie Camus for their unwavering support to Thor. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Thor's Celebration of Life at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 LA Highway 36, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1 PM, visitation begins at Noon.
