Terrence Gilbert Obituary

Terrence L. Gilbert passed away Thursday morning, August 3, 2017, at his residence in Slidell, at the age of 66.\r\nHe was born in New Orleans LA., and lived in Chalmette for his teenage years, after marrying his loving wife Juanita LeRoy Gilbert, 45 years ago, they lived in Algiers before moving to Slidell for the last 22 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Terrence served for 23 years on Engine 40 for the New Orleans Fire Department. Terrence was a member of the Masonâ€™s, he was also an active member of the Crescent City Corvette Club since 1980. He loved old cars especially old Corvetteâ€™s. Son of the late Joseph and Estelle Choina Gilbert. Brother of Joseph Gilbert and Fay Gilbert Larose.\r\n
