Tara Sunshine Seaberry is often lovingly called “Sunshine” for her sweet disposition, lost her battle with COVID-19 and gained her wings at the young age of 39. Tara was born on July 11th, 1981 in Picayune, MS.
Tara is survived by her loving husband Nathaniel “Red” Seaberry, Sr, her son Nathaniel “Nate” Seaberry Jr, her daughter Melia Seaberry, and her granddaughter Ava Seaberry, who was her pride and joy. Tara is also survived by her beloved mother Peggy Burge, as well as many close family and friends. Tara was a graduate of Slidell High School. She worked in the medical field for over half of her adult life, including but not limited to medical billing, pharmacy tech, and sleep studies. Tara also loved working with her Papazzi Jewelry Sisters. She was truly dedicated to her family and her friends and Tara built close and unbreakable bonds that lasted forever. Tara was known for her bubbly personality, her contagious laugh, and her genuine love for the people that surrounded her.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, LA. The Visitation will begin at 1:00pm and with Services at 2:00pm. There will be a Gathering to honor Tara Sunshine Seaberry at the Mosonic Temple, 2598 Fourth St., Slidell, LA following the Service and beginning at 4:00pm. Masks and Social Distancing is a must! Come and celebrate Tara’s life the way she would want it! Tara loved Mardi Gras and we want to celebrate her life in Mardi Gras style with family and friends!
