Sylvia A. Mayeaux passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at (PAM) Post Acute Medical, Covington at the age of 67. A native of New Orleans, Sylvia was a longtime resident of Westwego, most recently residing with her husband in Covington, LA. Along with her husband, she helped him run several businesses through the years. Beloved husband for 51 years of Glenn B. Mayeaux, Sr. Loving mother of Glenn B. Mayeaux, Jr. Devoted brother of Hilton Favre and Dennis Favre and sister in law of Barbara Bullock and Marilyn Jackson. There will be an informal viewing at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, Monday, May 11, 2020, from 10:00am until 12:00 noon. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, a limited amount of people will be allowed to congregate in the chapel. Thank you for your understanding at this time.
