Sonya Riche Obituary

This week, our family says goodbye to Sonya Ann Glynn Riche. Her beautiful light faded away on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was 55.

Sonya was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1966, to Robert A. Glynn and Peggy Badickino Glynn.

Sonya adored Christmas. It was her favorite season of the year. She was also a kind-hearted devout Christian who loved God, volunteered at church, and read the bible daily. Sonya graduated from Elaine P. Nunez Community College with a degree in Paralegal Studies.

She was the beloved wife to husband Bryan Riche for 22 years.

She leaves behind a family that will miss her deeply, including her sister Tammy Glynn Keppel, brother-in-law Frederick L. Keppel, and niece Alexis Keppel, whom she adored.

Sonya is survived by her mother-in-law Sue S. Riche, in-laws Karen Hanson, Gary Hanson, Sharon Melancon, Walter Melancon, and two stepdaughters.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Eloise M. Badickino, Arthur J. Badickino, Helen J. Glynn, Robert D. Glynn, and father-in-law Lloyd A. Riche.

A Private Family Service will be held on a later date.
