Shawn Rojas Obituary

Shawn Patrick Rojas, Jr. passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 in Lafitte, LA at the age of 33. He was born in Gretna, LA and was a resident of Lafitte. He enjoyed hunting, playing with his dog Mai “His baby girl”, pool parties, Saints football games, and hanging out with friends and family. He worked at Piggly Wiggly in Lafitte, as a trawler, and helping his uncle build boats. Loving husband of Stacey Matherne for 7 years. Son of Milissa “Missy” Guidry Beer and the late Shawn Patrick Rojas, Sr. Devoted uncle to the late Carson Roy Beer and Colton Carson Beer. Brother of Seth Beer, Jr. Dylan Beer, and Lane Rojas. Grandson of Jo Ann Meyers Guidry, Brenda Guidry, the late Doris and Hervin Rojas, and the late Roy A. Guidry. Nephew of the late Roy Guidry, Jr. “Pompe”. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at St. Pius X Cemetery, 8151 Bartaria Blvd. Crown Point, LA, on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 11:00AM.
