Sandra Annette “Netsie” Sandoz passed away Monday evening, September 5, 2016, at the age of 69. She was born in New Orleans, LA., and was a lifelong resident of Chalmette. Netsie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Loving wife of the late Merlin Sandoz, Sr. for 30 years. Beloved mother of Merlin Sandoz, Jr., Deborah Sandoz and the late Anthony Sandoz. Daughter of the late Jessie Simon and John F. Gilmore, Sr. Sister of Mae Jean Gilmore, Curtis Gilmore, Sr., Patricia Bordelon (Leonard), the late John F. Gilmore, Jr. (Jackie), the late Ronald Gilmore, Sr. (Bernie) and the late Ralph Gilmore. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
