Robert Michael Whittal a.k.a. â€œHoneybunâ€ passed from this life at his Covington residence on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the age of 45 years. A native of South Africa, Robert came to Louisiana 14 years ago to dive in the Gulf of Mexico. \r\n Survived by his wife, Angela Whittal and two children, Kayleigh Stark and Joshua Istre. Loving son of Annatjie Whittal and the late Kenneth Whittal. Brother of Desmond Whittal and wife Antoinette and Charmaine Pereira and husband Jose.\r\nUncle to Lyndsay Pereira, Kylie Pereira, Donovan Whittal, and Kenneth Whittal. \r\n
