Richard Calamia passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Covington, LA at the age of 60. He was born in Covington, LA and lived in Mandeville for most of his life. Richard spent his time watching TV, drinking Dr. Pepper, watching football and spending time with his beloved Walker Coonhound mix named Nyx. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Loving husband of Sherri Petrie Calamia of 36 years. Son of the late Louis and Beatrice Calamia. Devoted father of Adam, Noel, Mathew, Gabrielle, and Nicholas. Brother of Jon Marie Willie. Grandfather of Sammy, Maddie, Kobey, Kohen, Camille, Faith, Sutton, Charlotte, and Phoebe. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Dove Park Church of God, 925 Grey Lane, Covington, LA 70433 on May 29th at 4PM.
