Rhonda Marie Schmolke

Rhonda Marie Schmolke passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 47. She was a lifelong resident of Covington, Louisiana until she moved away after Hurricane Katrina. She was born to the late Franklin D. Schmolke and Linda Schmolke Whitehead (Lloyd Whitehead). Rhonda was the devoted companion to Kevin Marcum of 12 years and was the daughter in law to June Asher. She is survived by her four children Codie (Mandy) Sullivan, Lorena Bell, Melinda Sullivan and Kasey Sullivan. She was the grandmother of six grandchildren, Gabriel Sullivan, Adley Stein, Elliott Sullivan, MaKayla, MaLeah and Micah Capano. She is also survived by her two brothers Tommy Schmolke and Franklin Schmolke, as well as her sister Debbie Schmolke. She is preceded in death by her two sisters Janet Williams and Gina Schmolke. She leaves behind her special friend Mary Jane “Maw” Howell along with many more friends and family. She enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors and road trips. She was a huge fan of crawfish and cajun food. She loved her pets.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, LA on Thursday, August 11, 2022, with Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM followed by Service at 11:00 AM. Interment immediately following at Spencer Cemetery, Enon, LA.
