Randy Lawshe Obituary

Randy Adams Lawshe’ passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August

27, 2022 at the Hospice House in Slidell, at the age of 70. Randy was born in Mississippi and lived in Covington, LA.

Randy was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick E. Lawshe, Sr. She was the

daughter of the late Jerald Earl Adams and Corinna Harris Adams White, stepdaughter of

Thomas A. White, sister of the late Jerry Adams, and aunt of the late Joshua Ruffin Adams.

She is survived by her 1st heart, daughter Corinna Hayden, and her pain in the a@# son-in-law,

Randy, her other 3 hearts, her grandchildren, the twins Joshua and Jason, and her littlest heart

Jessie. Stepmother of Tina Thomas (MIke), and Fredrerick Lawshe, Jr. (Vikki). Sister of Corinna Smart a.k.a “Bunty” (John). Aunt of Christie Marron, Amanda Ethington, Travis Ethington, and Zachary Adams. She is also survived by many beloved grandchildren, great

grandchildren, cousins, dear friends, and fur babies - Charlie, Buddy, Rolo, and Snickers.

Randy was loved and admired by many. She was a busy woman during her life. Her proudest,

besides her hearts, was being Queen Eve XIX in the Krewe of Eve in Mandeville, LA. She

always said “it's good to be Queen”. As a season ticket holder to the New Orleans Saints, she

attended many games at home and away including Superbowl XLIV in Miami. She also was a

Franchise owner of several H & R Blocks until she retired. She taught for many years with the

National Association of Tax Professionals traveling all over teaching tax laws. During her time

here she was always busy working on something to help and benefit others. Randy served on

the committee with Sean Peyton’s Black and Gold Gala and Pierre Thomas Foundations. She

loved spending time with family and friends. Besides the Krewe of Eve, she was also part of the

Sweet Potato Queens and the Brussel Sprout Queens during St. Patrick's Day. She loved

heading up the quarterly luncheons, Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler, meeting up with friends,

dressing up in the theme of the lunch, playing dirty santa, and just laughing and making

memories with her friends. Another happy moment is when her dream came true of being

Flower Girl in Edward and Karen Hardy’s wedding.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Benedict's Plantation, 1144 N. Causeway Blvd., Mandeville, LA 70471. Bring pictures of your fondest moments with mom to create a Celebration board. It will be an afternoon of celebrating and remembering Randy Lawshe’ with laughter, music, and food. She wouldn't have it any other way!

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Northlake Christian School. All who knew her knew that she was passionate about this school for her hearts that have attended all their lives.

Donations can also be made to the Hospice House of Slidell where she spent her last days of

life and was treated like the Queen that she is by the administration and staff.

She is loved and will be missed by many.
