Philip Sammartino Obituary
Philip Frank Sammartino, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the age of 60.
Beloved husband of Barbara Piazza Sammartino.
Brother of Angelo J. Sammartino Jr., (Debra Sammartino). Brother in law to Al Piazza and (Joey Piazza).
Philip has two nieces Angela Barras (Daniel Barras) and Monique Ward (Eddie Ward).
Son of the Late Lena and Angelo J. Sammartino.
Son in law to the Late Dolores and Alfred F. Piazza.
He is also preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends we call Family.
Barbara would like to extend a special thanks to the LVAD team at Ochsner Main, in Jefferson, LA for their dedication to helping her husband through some of the toughest years he faced. Philip appreciated all their efforts and over the years it felt like they were family. We cannot express how thankful we are to them.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass at St. Rita Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy., Harahan, LA on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 11:00AM. A private interment will be held at Lake Lawn Cemetery.
