Peggy Lord Obituary

Peggy Rene Lord, 68, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, in Slidell, LA. She was born in New Orleans, the daughter of Edgar Sylvester Adams, Jr. and Mary Frances Adkison Adams. She is survived by two sons, William Arthur Lord, Jr. of San Diego and Robert Joseph Lord of Ponchatoula, daughter-in-law Sonja Pruitt-Lord, and granddaughter Adelyn Lord. She is also survived by a sister, Paula A. Blackwell Oubre and nephews Adam John Swensek and Christopher Daniel Blackwell, and preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Gene Adams Swensek. Private Memorial Services will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice House, P.O. Box 5806, Slidell, LA 70469.
