Pamela Whitfield Obituary

Pamela H. Whitfield passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Covington, LA at the age of 68. She was a resident of Covington, LA and St. Bernard, LA. Spouse of the late Newton R. Whitfield, Sr. Daughter of the late Delvin L. Hume, and Jessie R. Hume. Mother of Ashley B. St. Angelo (Rodney), and Dallas W. Ancalade (James, Sr.). Grandmother of Sarah St. Angelo, James Ancalade, Jr., and Alyssa Ancalade. Great grandmother of Layla Grace. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Delvin Hume, Eric Hume, Sr., Sigrid Tucker, and Loretta McCutcheon. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her Funeral Service at First Pentecostal Church of Chalmette, 2015 Palmisano Blvd., Chalmette, LA 70043 on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM and Service begins at Noon. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting charitable donations be made in Pamela’s memory to a charity of the giver’s choice.
