Odelia (Dee) Hilda Serigne, 79, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, lived and worked there most her life. She enjoyed cooking, movies and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Serigne, son Joseph Serigne, II, sister Stella Maglapit Laurent, and parents Frederico and Amelia Maglapit.
She is survived by 1 son John Michael Maglapit and his wife Lisa Maglapit of Denham Springs, LA, brother in law Robert Laurent, Sr. of Hammond, LA, sister Teresa Maglapit-Vida of Birmingham, Alabama, daughter in law Lisa Serigne of Horn Lake, Mississippi, sister in Law Vancia Dunn and her husband Paul of Lacombe, LA.
Grandmother of Christina L. Maglapit, Jennifer L. Maglapit, Joseph Serigne, III, Linsey M. Hurst, Joan Serigne, Candace O. Hurst, Lane Maddox, Zachary Palmer, Ryan M. Maglapit, and Savannah Serigne.
Great Grandmother of Tyler B. Lepine, Cody A. Lepine, Leah Borodkin, Leo Rodasta, Gianna Rodasta, Zachary Palmer, Jr., Brooklyn Palmer, and Kaleb Palmer, along with many nieces and nephews.
