Mary “Birdie” Roberta Menne passed away at her home in Mandeville, LA on Saturday morning, January 12, 2019, at the age of 63. She was born in Isola, MS in the same house where her mother and whole family were born. Prior to moving to Mandeville one year ago she lived with her son in Cairo, Georgia.

Mary enjoyed being home by herself and playing challenging mind games on her computer and she used Facebook to keep in touch with her family. Mary loved to play with her two great grandchildren.

Devoted mother of Garrie Lynne Landry husband Jesse and Nolan Paul Menne.

Sister of William Cessena (Phyllis) Francis “Yvonne” Knoblock (Benton) Michael Cessena, Loretta Leblanc (Gable).

Loving grandmother of Jesseca, Hailey and Cody.

Great grandmother of Jeremy and Jocelyn.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, Saturday, January 19, 2019. Visitation time is from 11:00am until 2:30pm with the Service starting at 1:00pm.
