Mary Hingle Obituary
Mary “Liz” Hingle went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020, at the age of 71. Mary was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 31, 1948. She was the eldest daughter of Lewis Holmes and Jacqueline Culley Turner. Mary spent most of her adult life in the New Orleans, Louisiana area.
She is survived by her only daughter, Melissa Smith Tardo, her grandchildren, Danielle Elizabeth, Christopher Jason (Kendall), and Joseph Anthony, and her great granddaughter, Vada Joy Tardo.
She is survived by sisters, Cynthia Anne Guillory (Allen), Paula Turner Aycox (Jeff),
and nieces Tammi (Kevin), Morgan, and great nieces and nephews. Mary loved and was blessed to be loved by a host of special people whom she considered her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rehyna Hingle, and her one son-in-love, Anthony Tardo, her father, Lewis Holmes, and her mother, Jacqueline Culley Turner.
Service held Wednesday June 10, 2020 for immediate family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
