Margaret Troxclair Obituary
Margaret Troxclair passed away at the age of 96, on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at home in Waggaman, LA. She was born in Vacherie, LA to the late Adonis Schexnayder and Laura Waguespack Schexnayder. Margaret was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katrina.
Margaret was the devoted wife of the late James Thomas Troxclair for 60 years. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Troxclair (Kerry) and Philip Troxclair (Maria). She was the loving Grandmother of Jeffrey Troxclair (Maria), Lauren Troxclair Marshall (Adam), Aurora Troxclair Sellers (Steven), and Ariel Troxclair. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Isabella Troxclair, Caroline Marshall, and Graham Marshall.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass, Noon on Friday August 5, 2022 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Rd., Waggaman, LA 70094. Visitation begins at the church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in Avondale, LA.
