Leona Rohr Obituary

Leona Mae Nehlig Rohr passed away peacefully on January 25, 2019, at the age of 83. She was born in New Orleans, LA on February 11, 1935, and last resided in Metairie, LA.

Loving wife of George Henry Rohr Sr. for 61 years.

Devoted mother of George Henry Rohr Jr. (Ivy) and Kathy Rohr Meehan (Bobby).

Caring grandmother of Stacey Meehan, Stephanie Meehan, Kevin Meehan, Patrick Meehan and George Rohr III.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents Christian Peter Nehlig, Leona Lopez Nehlig and her sister Carol Nehlig Ross.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, February 1, 2019, at St. Ann Church 3601 Transcontinental Dr. Metairie, LA 70006 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at St. Ann from 10:00 am till time of services.

Interment to follow at Lake Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Parkinson’s foundation.
