Len Henson Obituary

Len D. Henson went to meet the Lord on Friday, May 27, 2022. He was one of six children born to Iva (Johnson) and Brady Henson of Walnut Log, TN.



Len graduated high school from Dixie High in Union City. After working for a few years Len joined the US Army and served in Germany. He moved to St. Louis and worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft before relocating to Pearl River, LA to work for TRT as a Radio Telegraph Officer and retired after 25 years.



His major passions were duck hunting and fishing on Reelfoot Lake but he also enjoyed deer hunting and playing softball.



Len is survived by two children Greg and Teresa, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, his sister Geraldine Beard and brother Waymon Henson.



He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Glen, James, and David.



He was a member of Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church in Pearl River, LA.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reelfoot Lake State Park.



Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2022 with burial at Mt. Manual Cemetery with times to be announced.



Services will be conducted by Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home in Union City, TN.
