Lavelle “Jackie” Ann Seawright passed away in Mandeville on Monday, January 3, 2022. Native of New Orleans, and 30 year resident of Mandeville, LA, age 78 years. Loving mother of Angelia Shoemake, and Mark Martin and his fiancée Jaclyn Blancher. Devoted grandmother of Christopher Shoemake and his wife Casey, Lauren Martin and her fiancée T.C. Pitre, Brandon Martin, Kaitlin Martin, and Mettah Martin, and devoted Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loving friend of Marcos Guerra. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 30 years, Alton Milford “Amos” Seawright, as well as her late grandson, James Shoemake. Lavelle was a devoted wife and mother who loved and cherished her husband and her children, loved animals, and was an avid fisher who loved spending time on the bayou. Private family services held.
