Ms. Laura Marie Orazio passed away on, Thursday, September 8, 2017 in Covington, LA at the age of 59after battling a chronic illness.\r\nShe was born on July 22, 1958 in New Orleans, LA to Joan Ruth Wach Orazio and the late William Joseph Orazio Sr.\r\nMs. Laura enjoyed sewing and being involved in her church and charitable activities. She also loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.\r\nShe is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Tiffani & Ronnie Ducote; her sister and her husband Joni Orazio & Charles Bramlet; her brother and his wife William Jr. and Paige Orazio; grandchildren Carson and Roman Ducote. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Madelyn, Olivia & Evan Bramlet; Maria Orazio and Michael Floyd\r\nShe was preceded in death by her son Ronnie Orazio.\r\nLaura was a kind, gentle and gregarious spirit who never met a stranger and possessed an accepting nonjudgmental love for others. She found great pleasure in helping those in need, even when her needs where significant. She valued her faith, family and friends above all else. Her most enjoyable moments in life were spent with her cherished grandsons. Her family and friends will dearly miss her. \r\nThose same family and friends whom she cherished are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the services begin at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Home in Covington, LA.
