Joshua “Josh” Michael Medeiros entered Heaven’s Pearly Gates on Saturday September 3, 2022, at the age of 34. God said to Joshua to end his visit on earth, come receive your wings then return home to me. Joshua was a loving husband, son, father, grandson, uncle, cousin, and a friend. Joshua was born on May 26, 1988, in New Orleans, La., and was a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA.
Josh truly loved his wife, his kids, his family, and friends. He worked as a roofer for many years. Joshua was such a caring loving man and would give you his shirt off his back.
To cherish his memories, He leaves his loving wife Rebecca Medeiros, his mother Deborah, his grandmother Linda, his son Joshua Jr., his stepdaughter Chelsay, his brother Ryan, his mother-in-law Julie, his father-in-law Robert, his brother -In-laws Robert (Annette) & Ronnie. Also, His Aunts & Uncles Jeannette (Tommie), Dawn, & Stacey (Chris). Also, His cousins Heather (Mickey), Amaya, Jessica, Junior, Rey, Trinity, Salina, Taelynn, Michael, Giovanni, Armani, Lorenzo, Braxton, Blake, Baby Butch. He was the uncle of Tassie (Michael), Nathan, Tessa, Nevaeh, Ronnie Jr., Robbie, Allie, Jayden and great uncle of MJ. He was the great nephew of Joe & Donna.
He also has a host of other relatives and friends who are left to cherish his loving memories.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather Carnell” Butch” Medeiros Sr., stepfather Jeffery, 3 uncles Carnell” Butch” Medeiros Jr., Michael & Steven.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Joshua’s “Celebration of Life” at noon with services beginning at 2:00 PM on Monday September 12, 2022, at Serenity Funeral Home 20419 Hwy 36., Covington, LA.
