Joshua James Ciuffi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joshua James Ciuffi, age 31, of Chalmette, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at St. Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, LA. He was born in New Orleans, LA to Christopher and Angie (Ciuffi) Ruiz and lived in St. Bernard his whole life. Joshua was sweet, gentle, kind, strong, and a very hard worker (just like his dad). A good friend to many. Certainly, a mama's boy true and true, and one of the greatest gifts from God to her. Since the day his father took his last breath Josh stepped up so much to take care of his family. He made sure his mother never went without. He took care of her financially and brought her to countless doctor appointments. He was her bright and shining light on many dark days. Josh was beautiful inside and out, but most of all he was selfless and giving, so much so that he became an organ donor. "Whatever our souls are made of your's and mine are the same". Joshua is survived by his Loving mother Angie C. Ruiz, grandfather Adam J. Ciuffi, Sr., brothers Stephen J. Ciuffi, and Christopher Sertine, and his boss/friend/brother Lorenzo Ruiz. Joshua leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his godparents. He was preceded in death by his father Christopher R. Ruiz, grandparents Wanda E.
