Jon Hughes Obituary

Jon Michael Hughes passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 59. A resident of Algiers, LA, Jon was born February 14, 1962. Loving husband of Cindy Ardeneaux Hughes for 26 years. Devoted father of Emily Jude Hughes and furbaby Sophie. Survived by his parents James F. Hughes and Joy Robichaux Hughes, siblings James W. Hughes, and Jina Hughes Ellingburg, brother-in-laws Kim Ellingburg, Tommy Ardeneaux, and David Ardeneaux, Jr., nephews Jameson W. Hughes, Joey and Chris Ellingburg, and his niece, Sheina Lassalle. Jon Michael is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, the late David and Esther Ardeneaux, and

his sister-in-law Gwendolen Ardeneaux Roberson. A Celebration for friends and family will be held at the Oakdale Playground, 650 Wall Blvd., Room 103, Gretna, LA 70056 on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 3:00 Pm until 7:00 PM.
