John Trstensky Obituary

John M. Trstensky passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Marrero, LA at the age of 70. He was born in Chicago, IL and lived in Marrero, LA and Springfield, IL for most of his adult life. John graduated from St. Aloysius Grade School and St. James Trade School in Springfield, IL. He attended Browns Business School for one year before starting a career in the glass industry in Springfield, IL, Toledo, OH, St. Louis, MO, and New Orleans, LA. Son of Frank Trstensky, Sr. and HelenG. Bresnan Trstensky. Brother of Frances Kincaid, Jo Mary Trstensky, Helen Jackson, and the late Pauline McKinney, Frank Trstensky, Jr., Dorothea Seiz, Joseph Trstensky, and Tom Trstensky. John was strong in his Catholic faith. A private Family Memorial Service will be held in Springfield, IL due to Coronavirus restrictions. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting prayers and remembrance of John as a gentle person. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
