John Siebert Obituary

John E. Seibert passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the age of 54, in a two-vehicle accident near Franklinton, Louisiana. He was born January 18, 1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana. John grew up in Algiers, attended Brother Martin High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a gifted and accomplished guitar player who loved to play anywhere someone would listen. John had a strong faith in Our Lord and was a loving and devoted father. He recently resided in Mandeville with his two daughters Isabella and Evelyn Seibert (mother Robin Ober Seibert). He is also survived by his son Jonathan Farinola-Seibert (mother Beth Farinola), daughter Caroline Olsen (mother Rita Olsen), sisters Jean S. Tomba (Tommy), Kathy S. Hahn (Brett) and Karen S. Brohn (Peter) and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Ret. Major David J. Seibert, Jr. USAR and Jeannette Brochier Seibert; and grandparents Mr. & Mrs. David J. Seibert, Sr. and Mr. & Mrs. Jean Brochier.
