Jerry Gerald Turkin, Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 in Slidell, LA at the age of 47. He was born in Covington, LA and was a lifelong resident of Slidell. Jerry graduated from Covington High School and worked with his Dad as a brick mason. Because of his medical issues and disability he lived most of his life with his parents in Slidell, LA. Son of Jerry Gerald Turkin, Sr. and the late Charlotte Cagnolatti Turkin. Devoted father of Kawaun Turkin. Brother of Kevin and Chad Turkin, and one sister Felicia Rogers. He is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. Grandfather of one, Kylie Morris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until Mass starts at 11:00 AM at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 Highway 433, Slidell, LA 70460. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
