Irene “Nena” Trevino Eckner passed away in Mandeville on Friday morning, February 2, 2018, at the age of 69. Irene was born in Houston, TX and lived in Mandeville for the last 30 years. She loved cooking, coloring, gardening, reading, bingo and mahjong. Loving wife of James Duffy Eckner for the last 35 years. Daughter of the late Julian Trevino and Delia Ozuna. Devoted mother of Jessica Davis, Charles Davis and wife Maraike, and Sara Villemuer and husband Brad. Sister of Yolanda Moreno and husband Jose, and Debra Ann Trevino. Loving grandmother of Ernesto, Delia, Riley, Ellery, Hailey and one late grandson, Jessie Ray.
