Henry Frank Fourmaux

Henry Frank Fourmaux, Jr. passed away at his residence in Slidell, LA on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the age of 67. He was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Chalmette, LA for most of his life. He resided in Slidell for the last 20 years. Henry is a United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam era and earned the rank of E-3. After being discharged from the Army he worked at the Kaiser Aluminum plant in Chalmette for several years before starting his company Straight Roofing and General Contracting, he also worked as a longshoreman all along the Mississippi River. He enjoyed fishing and bowling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Son of the late Henry Frank Fourmaux, Sr. and Bernadine Savoca Fourmaux. Devoted father of Henry F. Fourmaux, III and Brandy Zeringue (Michael). Brother of Valdore “Val” Landry, Marie Jas (Gabe), and Cathy Peciulis. Grandfather of Heather Pfeffer (Brad), Elise Navarre (Rob), Shelleigh Zeringue, Michael Zeringue, Hunter Rome (Courtney), Madison Fourmaux, and Hannah Fourmaux. He also leaves five great-grandchildren Maya, Aly, Reed, Emma, and Ella.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Celebration Church 57030 Allen Road in Slidell, Louisiana. Friends and family gathering will start at 5:30 p.m. with the service following at 6:30 p.m.
