Helen Mizell Obituary
In the early hours of Tuesday, May 5,2020 Helen Louise Mizell was called home by our Heavenly Father. She will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered always. Helen was preceded in death by her husband James Dewitt “Jimmy” Mizell, Granddaughter, Chasity Dawn Mizell ,and grandson Joseph Mizell. Helen lead a full and satisfying life and was engaged to be married to a wonderful and loving man who was always at her side....Marshall Wayne Walker. She leaves behind her daughter Debbie M. Pumilia (Charles) of Covington, sons James Raymond Mizell of Franklinton, and Gary Paul Mizell (Alyson) of Franklinton. She was a loving grandmother of seven; Brandon Beahm , Cristina Pumilia , Lisa P. Giroir (Marx), Nilles Mizell, Amanda Mizell, Cody Mizell, and Alicia” Nicky” Buras (Jonathan). Great grandmother of five. Helen was much loved by her three brothers, and one sister. She is also sister to two brothers and one sister that have preceded her in passing. She loved her brothers and sisters very much. She was loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mom, If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. No farewells were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.
Our hearts are still active with sadness and grief and our tears still freely fall. We know you would tell us “stop that, remember me with smiles and laughter”. We miss you always mom, but we will remember you with smiles and laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Children's Hospital, Make A Wish Foundation. Date and time of Service will be updated on the Serenity Funeral Home website when that information becomes available.
