Harry Marvin Ellis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harry Marvin Ellis passed away at his home in Metairie, LA on Friday evening, July 16, 2021 at the age of 45. He was born in New Orleans and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He worked for Hercules Metal Building Materials Company in Chalmette, LA. He also worked as a deckhand for Port Ship Services for several years. By trade Harry was excellent at drywall and painting, working for local residential contractors. Son of Marvin B. Ellis, Jr. and Martha Rose Manint Ellis. He was preceded in death by one sister Misty Lynn Ellis. Grandson of the late Ella Mae Ellis and Marvin B. Ellis, Sr. He is survived by his nieces Dorris Goleman, Samantha Graves, and Sheyenne Graves, his nephew Wayne Reid, and his great nephews Bentley and Benjamin Goleman. He leaves behind his Aunt Charlette, Cindy, and his Uncle Teddy Kurz and Jimmy Manint. Harry was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whom he deeply touched. Although we will miss him every day he will forever remain in our hearts. Special thanks to Depaul USA’s Jessica Lovell.
