The heavenly choir gained a great tenor and a worshiper of Jesus Christ on Friday, May 8, 2020. Glen Luedke, age 61, passed from this earth as peacefully as he lived on it after a 15 year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He was surrounded by the loves of his life—his wife of 38 years, Shelia, and daughter Alexandra. There has never been a more devoted husband and father, and Glen used his entire life to serve others. His life was a living testament of all the good humanity has to offer through Jesus Christ.
Glen was known to never say a critical word about anyone, and he loved singing. He sang on praise teams for nearly 45 years and in various church productions throughout the years.
He was a graduate of Pittsburg State University and owned a medical software company as well as being a partner in a medical software development company.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth & Robert Luedke, and older brother, Gary.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Cornerstone Church. In lieu of flowers & plants, Glen requested memorial offerings to be left to the Care Team at his local church. Contributions may be mailed to Cornerstone Church, 23051 Highway 1088, Mandeville, LA 70448. Please reference “Luedke – Care Team.”
