Gina DeForest Obituary

Gina B. DeForest passed away in Slidell, LA on Sunday Morning February 25, 2018 at the age of 45. She was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Lacombe, LA for most of her life. Gina was a school food service worker for the St. Tammy Parish School System. Loving daughter to James P and Dora C. Berns. Devoted mother of Cassidy Marie DeForest and the late Ryan Lee DeForest. Loving sister of Charlene A. Berns and James P. Berns, Jr. Grandmother of one grandson Rylan Nicholas DeForest. Gina is preceded in death by her husband Brian G. DeForest.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on March 1, 2018 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church 61030 Brier Lake Drive Lacombe, LA., 70445. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until Mass begins at 2:00 pm.
