Gail Neeley Obituary
Gail Marie Bertram Neeley passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, January 3, 2022 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Shell Knob, MO for 8 years. In 1990 she moved back to Metairie, LA. For 14 years she lived in St. Tammany Parish, and the last year and a half she resided in Denham Springs, LA with her daughter. She loved to travel and spent 30 days in Europe. She visited Mexico and Las Vegas. She frequently visited the Gulf Coast Casinos in MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents Theodore Carlin Bertram, Sr. and Vivian Whitney. Loving wife of the late Nile Gene Neeley, Sr. for 40 years. Devoted mother of Nile Gene Neeley, Jr. (Sandra), and Lorene “Lori” Domingue (Damon). Sister of Catherine “kitty” Bulger (John), and Theodore Bertram (Saundra). Loving grandmother of 4; Cameron, Hunter, Colten, and Alaina. She is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews; Susan, David B., David S., Doug, Tricia, and Lance.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Catholic Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Highway 36, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Visitation begins at 1:00 PM, and Service begins at 3:00 PM. A Private Inurnment will take place on a later date at the National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
