Esther Montaldo Obituary
Esther Montaldo passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Covington, LA at the age of 74. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico and lived there until moving to Louisiana in 1993. She owned and was the principal of BSPC vocational training college, and she also was a graphic designer. Esther loved painting and crafting, and she loved traveling and was an avid aqua fitness practioner. Her other sport was shopping. Loving wife of the late Edmond B. Montaldo, Jr. for 20 years. The only daughter of the late Arturo Alburquerque and Esther Gomez Mayorga. Devoted mother of Arturo, Maria Esther, and Mayra. Grandmother of Josue, Isabelle, and Aaron. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Lakeshore Church, 15261 Brewster Rd., Covington, LA 70433. Esther Montaldo murió este miércoles 19 de mayo de 2021 en Covington, LA a la edad de 74 años; nació en la Ciudad de México, México y vivió ahi hasta 1993 cuando emigró a Nueva Orleans, LA. Era la dueña y directora del CSPB (o la BSPé), una escuela vocacional; también se hizo diseñadora gráfica. Amaba pintar, hacer manualidades, viajar y le encantaba hacer aqua aeróbics. Su otro deporte favorito era ir de compras. Fue la amorosa esposa de Edmond B. Montaldo, Jr por 20 años; la única hija de Arturo Alburquerque y Esther Gómez Mayorga, ambos ya fallecidos y devota madre de Arturo, Maria 'Maytté' Esther y Mayra. Sus nietos son Josué, Isabelle y Aarón. Se invita a sus familiares y amigos a asistir al servicio en su memoria el sábado 29 de mayo a las 10:00 am en la iglesia Lakeshore en Covington, 15261 Brewster Rd. Covington, LA 70433. Los arreglos funerarios se le confiaron a la casa funeraria Serenity de Covington, LA. Se pueden publicar condolencias y tributos en www.serenitycovington.com
