Eltimae deLaune Obituary

Eltimae W. deLaune passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at the age of 85. Eltimae loved spending time in her backyard working in her garden and spending time with her family. Daughter of the late, Young T. Williams and Adeline Poplus. Devoted wife for 54 years to the late George A. Delaune. Loving mother of Deborah Byrd (Daniel), Debra Laborde (James), William “Bill” deLaune (Patricia) and Kip deLaune. Grandmother of Rachel (Jason), Eric (Meghan), Sara (Glenn), Shane (Jill), Danielle (Cory), Kristina (Amanda), Brandi, and the late Daniel. Sister of the late Paul Williams of Husser, LA. She leaves behind 14 loving great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, July 19, 2021, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Rd., Covington at 11:30am. Visitation at the church begins at 9:30am. Words of remembrance will take place 10 minutes before mass begins. Interment immediately following at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, 13396 River Rd., Destrehan. Condolences can be posted at www.serenitycovington.com
