Eldin R Graffeo

Eldin Raymond Graffeo, passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Hammond at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday evening, May 31, 2016 at the age of 75. Eldin was born in New Orleans, a lifelong resident of Chalmette and a resident of Covington for the last 10 years. Eldin was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He worked for Kaiser Aluminum and retired from the “M.M.S.” Department of Interior. \r\nDevoted and Loving husband of Cora Alongi Graffeo for 53 years. Loving father of Ellen Graffeo Trahan and husband, Kenneth and Eric Graffeo and wife, April. Son of the late Thais St. Phillip and Elmo Graffeo. Grandfather of Allison and Bryce. Brother of Anthony, Terry, Sr., Robert “Bobby,” and the late Warren and Richard.\r\n
